Restoration of God’s Flock
And I will make them and the places around My hill a blessing.
And I will cause showers to come down in their season;
they will be showers of blessing
(Ezekiel 34: 26, NAS).
What is your season this morning, this midday or evening? Is it a season of drought? Then that is the season for showers. Is it a season of great heaviness and dark clouds? Then that is the seasons for showers. “As thy day so shall your strength be.”
“I will cause showers of blessing.” God will send all kinds of blessing. All God’s benefits go together, like links in a golden chain. If he gives converting grace, He will also give comforting grace. He will send ‘showers of blessing.’ Look up today, O parched branch, and open your leaves and flowers for a heavenly watering.
